COLLEGE ADMISSIONS TESTS: SAT & ACT
Both the SAT and ACT are standardized tests used for college admissions. It is HIGHLY recommended to take a PRACTICE SAT AND/OR ACT test before you take the real thing.
Frontier Tutoring will be administering online and face to face ACT and SAT practice tests for FREE

The ARMED SERVICES VOCATIONAL APTITUDE BATTERY (ASVAB):
The ASVAB is a multiple choice test, administered by the US Military Entrance Processing Command, used to determine qualification for enlistment in the United States Armed Forces. We recommend all seniors take this test to help identify potential careers.
ASVAB at Bartlett:. 10/30/25, 12/10/25, 2/12/26, and 4/29/26. See your School Counselor to sign up!

FREE APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL STUDENT AID (FAFSA):
In order to apply for the Alaska Performance Scholarship (APS), Federal and State loans, and work studies, you need to fill out the FAFSA. The window opens 10/1/25
On Wednesday, 10/29/25 at 6:00pm, a College and Career Specialist from ACPE will be doing a presentation on Funding Your Future (FYF) in the Library for seniors and their families. FYF presentation covers the cost you can expect attending college/training schools and provides ways to finance it. This event is either in person at the Library or through zoom at home. In addition to presentation, the Career Specialist will help seniors and families to set up their FAFSA account, which is a requirement to start the FAFSA process.

If additional help is needed with completing the FAFSA, Alaska Commission on Postsecondary Education (ACPE) assists students and families in completing the FAFSA submission process.

Students will apply to UAA with the help of an admissions representative

CAREER RESOURCE CENTER (CRC)
Tenesha Williams, Student Success Coach Migrant Education, can help you with your post-secondary plans that includes SAT/ACT sign up, Scholarships, Portfolios, College visits, resumes, and jobs.
She is available at the CRC (right across the Main Office) or room 118 every Monday, Tuesday, and Friday during lunch.
