Effective Saturday, October 1 through Sunday, October 16 People Mover Route 75 service to/from Bartlett will be affected by the Glenn Highway-Muldoon Interchange project road closures. Shuttle service will be made available by AnchorRIDES. Expect delays if you are traveling north of the Interchange. For details, please visit People Mover’s Detour page online at www.peoplemover.org.

WE LIKE BANNED BOOKS AND WE CANNOT LIE! It's true. This is Banned Books Week and we fully support your Freedom to read. Check out a book that has been challenged or banned. Also, come in at lunch for a game to test your knowledge of banned and challenged books with prizes. Also, from the library... Battle of the Books starts next week. If you are interested, please join us at lunch, next Tuesday, October 4th. Don’t forget the competition to guess HOW MANY BOOKS ARE IN OUR LIBRARY is coming to an end soon. If you haven't turned in an answer yet, make your best estimate and enter today or Monday. A winner will be announced on Tuesday.
Students! A representative from the University of Notre Dame will be coming to visit on Thursday, October 6 during lunch in the Career and Resource Center (across from the main office). Please stop by if you are interested!

There will be a meeting for all boys interested in playing Bartlett Basketball this year. It will be at lunch in the wood shop at lunch today. Let's break it down for you...boys basketball, Friday, lunch, wood shop. The coach will be there to answer questions.

Anyone that is wrestling please turn in your paperwork. It must be turned in before you can practice. Study hall for wrestling will be from 2:15-3:15 in Coach Foss' room. All wrestlers have to be there! Practice will start at 3:30. Go Bears!

Are you looking to get your medical cord or just wanting a reason to dress up? Well, here's your chance. Its professional dress day! Friday, September 30th. Dress as if you're going into the job interview of your life, dress to impress! Get your sign off paper before school from Mrs. Stone in room 505, get each of your teachers to sign off on you're professional dress form, then turn it in to Mrs. Stone after school. You will receive a certificate next week.

It’s Blood Drive time again. The Blood Bank of Alaska will be at Bartlett Friday, October 14. The earlier you return your completed paperwork, the better selection of donation times you have to choose from. If you are sixteen years or older and weigh 113 pounds or more, join the Golden Bear tradition of giving and pick up donation paperwork from Mr. Grenier in Rm 414A. Go Bears

The UnBEARably Funny Comedy Troupe's first improv show of the season is tonight at 7pm. Doors open at 6:30 pm. Please join us for the "Fall Down Laughing" show. Proceeds will support Bartlett Theatre Group.

Attention 11th and 12th graders! The College and Career Fair will be on Monday, October 17th from 9:00-11:00am. All interested students please pick up a field trip form from your counselor. Come meet representatives from colleges, universities, and vocational schools from around the country, as well as private and public employers. There are only 100 spots so pick up your form ASAP!
