The boys basketball team won the Barrow Whaler Classic basketball tournament in Barrow, Alaska this past weekend. Ryan Trailer, Merang Gatkouth, and LaTravious Kingsland-Kennedy took conference honors. Ryan Trailer won the three point contest. Bartlett made it's mark all over Barrow.

Go Red for Women this Friday. February 3rd is National Wear Red Day to bring about awareness for heart disease and stroke in women. Heart disease and stroke cause 1 in 3 deaths among women each year. Key Club is asking that everyone at Bartlett Go Red for Women on Friday, February 3rd.

All Juniors and Seniors: UAA Preview Day will be taking place on Friday, February 10 from 7:30am - 1:45pm. If you are interested in a campus tour, sitting in on college classes, seeing a dorm room, and getting information on the various UAA Departments, please considering this outstanding opportunity. Student MUST complete and turn in a permission form with all teacher and parent/guardian signatures. Please pick up a form from your school counselor. The deadline to turn in the completed permission slip form is Thursday, 2/9. Space is limited, so you will want to turn this in as soon as possible; first come, first served.

Come by the sales table at lunch all this week to order a song for your sweetie. Prices are $3 to $5. Please make sure to have delivery information ready when you make your purchase. You must list your recipient’s room location for deliveries 4th period on Tuesday the 14th and 3rd & 6th periods on Wednesday the 15th. See the flyers around school or a choir member for more details.

Freshman, you can leave campus for lunch next year, as a sophomore not this year, even if an upperclassman is with you. Freshman must stay on campus for lunch.

Students: Fines have been posted and letters have been mailed. Please be sure you take care of your responsibilities as soon as possible. Seniors, remember all fines must be paid by May 5th in order for you to receive your diploma at Graduation. Exact cash or check only.

The ASVAB Career Exploration Test will be given on Friday, February 10th. It is open to sophomores, juniors, and seniors. If you would like to sign up, please see your counselor.

Friday February 10th, is Bartlett’s Spring dance “ Hollywood Lights”  from 8pm-11pm . We encourage you to come and bring your guests. Our semi formal dance dress code is still in full effect.  Tickets are 8$ in advance and 10$ at the door.  Sales will be across from activities at lunch until February 10th. Guest passes are due Wednesday February 8th, we hope to see you there!

All students: We are offering an ETT class after school.....ETT stands for (Emergency Trauma Technician). You will get a 1/2 elective credit towards graduation. Any student who is interested in the ETT class needs to see their counselor or Mrs. Stone ASAP. The class will start on Wednesday, February 1st. in room 505 (the Medical Academy)
