Please congratulate the public forum debate team of Madison Xiong and Jonathan Reyes, and the duo interpretation team of Grace Lilly and Victoria Winn. Both teams finished 4th at the drama, debate and forensics state tournament! And to all the DDF team--thank you for all your hard work and dedication this season!

Seniors, the deadline to submit your scholarship portfolio to the CRC is Friday, March 4th. You must submit an electronic and paper version. If portfolios are received after the deadline, there is no guarantee they will be reviewed.  This year, between 4 and 5 scholarship committees will come to Bartlett to review portfolios from seniors, so be sure to take advantage of this opportunity!

A Look at Black History in Alaska - In 1896, Bessie Couture opened Alaska’s first Black-owned business, the “Black and White Restaurant”, in Skagway during the Klondike Gold Rush.

Juniors and Seniors, worried about getting a good score on the ACT? You can improve your score with practice!  Frontier Tutoring will be offering a FREE practice test for Bartlett students on Saturday, 3/5 from 9:00-1:00pm. in the Library You will take an actual past ACT under timed conditions and receive a detailed score report showing where you stand and how to improve. This is a great opportunity to increase your score and prepare yourself for the real test. See your counselor for details—there are limited spots, so sign up right away!

Do you want to be part of a great program here at Bartlett?  Do you want to run, jump or throw?  Then track and field is for you!  The season starts on Monday, March 7th.  There will be an informational meeting this Thursday at 10:30am in room 444.  Bring a friend with you.  See you then!

Get ready Bartlett this year were gonna rock down to Electric Avenue. 
This dance will be held Friday, February 26th in the Yellow Cafeteria from 8 pm till 11 pm. 
The dance will be a semi-formal event so the dance dress code will be in full effect. 
Boys: Wear dress shirts, fitted slacks, and dress shoes. Shirts must be tucked in and ties are optional.  Sneakers may be worn as long as they are new or VERY clean.  
Girls: Dresses should be fingertip length, dresses with excessive cut outs, open backs, excessive cleavage, and strapless dresses without cardigans/shawls are not allowed. Leggings and sneakers are not allowed.
Tickets will be sold across the Activities Office during until the 26th.  
Tickets bought in advance will be $8 and will be sold at the door for $10. 
Guest passes will be due Wednesday, February 24th and must be turned into the Activities Office by the end of the day.
