Sophomores and Juniors-The Gifted Mentorship Coordinator will be in the CRC today at lunch. Applications are being accepted for the 2017/18 school year, stop by for more information. Mentorships are available in Engineering, Nursing, and many other fields.
SENIORS Senior fine letters were mailed out on Friday and posted outside Mrs. Crosby's office. Be sure you take care of your fine by Friday, May 5th or you will not receive your diploma at Graduation. Fines may be added to your record until Thursday, May 4th so be sure you take care of all your responsibilities.
Good morning, Bears, Powerhouse wants to make you feel special this week. We could use your help with our activity on Wednesday. We are going to make posters announcing the things we love about Bartlett. You can help make a poster to celebrate your favorite team, club, activity, or class. The paper and markers will be in Main Place during lunch on Wednesday. On Thursday we are going to sponsor a handshake contest during lunch. Bring a friend to do a demonstration of your special handshake. The winners will receive a prize.

Juniors, Don't forget about our Post Secondary Planning Night coming up. We have a college and career specialist who will be talking about postsecondary education, career planning, and financial aid. We hope you and your parents/guardians will attend. It will be held in the BHS Library this Thursday, April 13th, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.

Bartlett Choir is pleased to present our "Disney Favorites 2017 Pop Show,” May 2nd at 7:00pm in the Bettie Jean McDonald Theatre. You do not want to miss this show! There will be singing, dancing, and fun for kids of all ages. Admission for Bartlett students and staff is $3.00; general admission is $5. Doors will open at 6:30pm. We will also have a Silent Auction that night with some great items and services up for bid. Come out and support the choir in their final concert of the year.
Thanks to your great response Bartlett students, we have almost all our Disney Favorites show crew positions filled! We are still in need of two students for spotlight operators and one for stage crew captain. We are also still looking for three to four teachers or staff members to assist backstage. Juniors! Do you want to know more about APU? Alaska Pacific University (APU) will be having an Open House on Friday, 4/21. This event will provide participants with a first hand look at campus, classes, housing, and the APU community. Please pick up a field trip form from your school counselor to attend!

Good morning, Seniors, testing for the seal of biliteracy must be done by this Friday, April 14th. Plan to see Mme Hearn on Wednesday or Thursday afternoon next week for your PLACE test. It will be in 214 D right after school. Don't let this great opportunity pass you by.

Do you ever feel like you don’t get the chance to embrace your culture as much as you’d like too? Well on Monday, April 24th show off your culture for cultural Monday. Tuesday, April 25th, wear your favorite college gear and show Bartlett what college you’d like to represent. Wednesday, April 26th, dress up as any Disney character to recreate those childhood memories. Thursday, April 27th, go all out and wear your shades, shorts, flip flops and bucket hats for Fun in the sun Thursday. And of course, Friday, April 28th, wear as much Blue and Gold as you can. This is the last spirit week of the year. As always, Go Bears!
