Attention swimmers.  Your deck coats were due last week and Coach Singleton needs this turned in as soon as possible.  Fine slips will be worked on this week and submitted on Friday.

Attention students:  would you like to have a job this summer with the Alaska Railroad as a Tour Guide?  Personnel from the Alaska Railroad will be available today in Main Place during lunch period to answer questions you may have about getting started in the program.  Representatives from the Alaska Career College and Alaska Pacific University will be available in Main Place today also.  Please help make them feel welcome to Bartlett.  

Students!  Are you interested in a chance to win $500 for a writing contest.  The 2018 EngineerGirl Writing Contest is available for all students to participate, male and female.  Stop by the CRC for more details.

KCC’s Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) applications for the Spring semester are due FRIDAY, November 17th!  This class is for Seniors only, meets during afternoon session from 11:15 to 1:20 pm, and includes 8 clinical shifts outside of school. The application includes 2 Recommendation Forms with Letters of Recommendation, Transcript & Attendance Record. All 11th and 12th graders!  Frontier Tutoring will be offering a FREE ACT practice tests at Bartlett on Saturday, 11/18. It will be from 9:00-1:10pm in the library. After taking a full length practice test, you will get a detailed score report with a roadmap to score improvement, plus guidance on whether to focus on the SAT or ACT. Please see your counselor for more information.

Attention 11th and 12th graders! Do you want to know more about APU? Alaska Pacific University will be having an Open House on Friday, 12/1. This event will provide participants with a first hand look at campus, classes, housing, and the APU community. Please pick up a field trip form from your school counselor to attend!

The cafeteria is hoping to have a decorating contest for the holidays.  We need 8-10 groups to volunteer and we will have movie tickets for Regal Cinemas as prizes for the winners which we would like students and staff to vote on.  If you or your group are interested, please submit your ideas to the Cafeteria Manager for approval.

Join us on Thursday November 30th from 7-8 p.m for the Alaska Railroad Tour Guide Training Program Open House.  Find out everything you need to know about this popular After-School job training course.  The program is offered at the King Career Center during the spring semester to juniors and seniors.  Successful completion of the course may result in a summer job working as a tour guide with the Alaska Railroad.  Applications will be available at the Open House.

Starting November 6th students will be able to participate in Professional Dress Day on Mondays in November.  Pick up a professional dress form from Mrs. Stone in room 505 or Mrs. Campbell in room 438, dress professionally for the entire day, and get your teachers to sign your form.  Then please return the form to earn your professional dress certificate.  This will count towards your medical cord.  If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Stone or Mrs. Campbell.
